Melamine foam, also called melamine sponge, is a high molecular weight polymer composed of melamine and polyformaldehyde.
It is an open-cell foam with an open-cell rate of 99% and a three-dimensional network structure.
Yes, the magic sponge is made of melamine sponge which is also called melamine foam.
This is a physical cleaning method. The Magic Sponge has extremely strong friction, and its three-dimensional network structure easily absorbs various stains.
Due to its porosity exceeding 99%, sound waves can easily penetrate deep into the foam, increasing the contact area and interaction between the foam and the material.
Once the sound waves enter the foam, they are continuously reflected and refracted within the pores of the melamine foam's three-dimensional network structure, rubbing against the foam's inner walls.
This converts the sound energy into heat and dissipates it, effectively absorbing and reducing noise.
